A very special thank you to resident Joanie Keehn for donating her time to put together our first digital community newsletter. With the retirement of Renée Hanyok, longtime printer of our newsletters, our residents have graciously stepped up to fill in the gaps! Going digital saves the township $540 just in postage per newsletter, but printed copies will be available at Bilicic’s and the Administration Building for those who would like one.

The Capital Campaign

The Geneva Board of Education has approved the construction of an athletic facility on the campus of Geneva High School. This exciting project will feature a multi-use athletic field for football, soccer, marching band, and other student activities, along with stadium seating, a running track, and several modern upgrades to enhance the experience for our students and community.

As part of the 2026 Capital Campaign, we are working to fund essential additions, i.e. restrooms, concession stands, locker rooms, etc. These amenities are critical to creating a safe, comfortable, and complete facility for everyone who uses it.

We need your support to make this vision a reality.

Monthly meeting for the Harpersfield Heritage Society is the first Wednesday of the month at 7 pm.  The meetings take place at the Old Town Hall at 1324 Harpersfield Rd.  All are welcome.  Contact Lisa at 440-645-7357.

Short Term Rental Hosts

Effective with the July Bed Tax (to be reported in August) , Owner/Operators will use the same form used to report their 5% bed tax to the county and will just add their 3% township tax to that same form.  Owner/Operators will no longer have to use 2 separate forms and 2 separate payment methods to report.  Owner/Operators should submit their June bed tax to the township.  June will be their last month to report to the township.  Please contact Mickey Mihalick at mickey@harpersfield.us or Cacoffield@ashtabulacounty.gov with any questions.
